Global ePoint Subsidiary Enters Airport Security Market

(Nasdaq: GEPT - News), a leading manufacturer of surveillance security technologies, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Tops Digital Security, has entered the airport security market with its first contract from a municipal airport. The name of the airport was not disclosed for security reasons.

Tops has installed at the airport a turnkey solution that provides cameras with digital video recording (DVR) capability for closed-circuit TV security and access control equipment with proximity card readers. Key factors in the selection of the Tops equipment included the high quality of the recorded video data playback and the system’s ease of use by airport personnel.
