Global ePoint’s Aviation Division Receives Order from Leading Aircraft Cabin Interior Products Company

Initial Order Expected to Support Major Retrofit Program

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., April 27, 2006 — Global ePoint, Inc. (Nasdaq: GEPT - News), a leading provider of security and aviation solutions for the aviation, law enforcement, government, and commercial / industrial markets, announced today that its Aviation Division, Global AirWorks, has received orders from a leading aircraft cabin interior manufacturer for lumbar controllers in the commercial airline market.

The order is for over 2,000 of the lumbar controllers to be utilized to manufacture or retrofit business and first class commercial airline seats. This order is significant because the customer was recently awarded a major retrofit program valued at over $165 million by a major U.S. airline. Global Airworks anticipates additional orders for other components from the aircraft cabin interior products company as it continues to upgrade the fleet of the large North American carrier.
