Tulsa, Oklahoma Fire Department Selects Global ePoint’s Mobile Surveillance System

First Time Company’s Surveillance System Used By City Fire Department

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — Dec. 20, 2005 — Global ePoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:GEPT – News), a leading manufacturer of security technologies for the aviation, law enforcement, commercial and industrial markets, announced today it has installed surveillance systems in the vehicles operated by the Tulsa, Oklahoma Fire Department. This is the first time Global ePoint has installed its surveillance system in a city fire department.

"The System was installed on a command vehicle and an engine truck," said Ricky Frick, President of Global AirWorks the Company’s Aviation Division. "The Tulsa Fire Department has 30 Engine Trucks, 10 Ladder Trucks and 6 Command Vehicles making it an ideal first candidate for our rollout."

"We see multiple benefits of this system. It improves our ability and responsiveness to every fire situation, is an extremely effective tool for training, and enhances fire tactics using the recoding to analyze each and every situation they encounter."

"All of these markets are very large and could be important growth catalysts for Global ePoint."
