CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — Nov. 28, 2005 — Global ePoint, Inc. (Nasdaq: GEPT – News), a leading manufacturer of security technologies for the aviation, law enforcement, commercial and industrial markets, announced today that the Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil (DGAC) of Mexico has mandated the use of cockpit door video surveillance on all passenger carrying aircraft under Mexican registration beginning February 1, 2006. Separately, Global ePoint’s aviation division, Global AirWorks, has also received formal validation of its Cockpit Door Surveillance Sys tem (CDSS) from the DGAC. AirWorks anticipates that Mexican installations will begin in the first quarter 2006.
