Global ePoint’s Contract Manufacturing Division Receives $3 Million In Additional Orders

Major Mexican Retailer Increases reorder to $8 million

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — Sept. 7, 2005 — Global ePoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:GEPT – News) a leading manufacturer of security technologies for the aviation, law enforcement, industrial and commercial markets, today announced its Contract Manufacturing Division has received an additional $3 million order in conjunction with the $5 million personal computer subcontract order from Avatar Technologies for a major Mexican retailer (announced on August 15, 2005).

The original $5 million order for desktop computers and Laptops was increased by over $3 million. The additional orders are scheduled for delivery in October 2005.
