The system, provided by Global ePoint’s Digital Technology Division, is a revolutionary implementation of real–time video communication, surveillance and command functions, ushering in a new generation of communication technology to link front–line emergency personnel and headquarter commanders. Peterson Air Force Base, located in Colorado Springs, Colo., has installed Global ePoint’s Sequent Range™ products, a proprietary solution combining a number of advanced digital video, wireless data communications and cellular communications technologies.

The Sequent Range™ products are designed for use by all emergency and first–responder personnel, including police and other law enforcement groups. A number of municipal police departments in California and New Jersey are currently evaluating pilot installations of the technology for potential department–wide deployments in police cars and other vehicles.
