On-Point Technology Systems Announces Special Shareholder Meeting for May 18, 2001 in Connection with Sale of Lottery Assets

(the Company) (Nasdaq:ONPT - news) today announced that it has filed its definitive proxy statement for a special meeting of shareholders for the purpose of considering and acting upon the approval of the previously announced asset purchase agreement between the Company and Interlott Technologies, Inc. and the transactions contemplated by the asset purchase agreement, and the approval of an amendment to change the name of the Company to Global ePoint, Inc. The shareholder meeting has been set for May 18, 2001.
