CITY OF INDUSTRY, California. --- September 4, 2003--- GLOBAL EPOINT, INC. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ SC: GEPT) today announced that its McDigit division (“McDigit”), which manufactures customized computers and provides comprehensive solutions for industrial personal computer, commercial personal computer and contract manufacturing markets, has entered into an arrangement to manufacture and market the Vicious PC™ gaming computers. Vicious PC was founded in 2001 primarily to provide high-quality personal computers for use with PC games. The arrangement with Vicious PC marks McDigit’s continuing expansion of its business operations into new markets. "We are pleased to have Vicious PC join McDigit’s expanding business base,” said Toresa Lou, McDigit’s Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to the opportunity to further enhance and build the Vicious PC brand into the leader in its market using McDigit’s state of the art manufacturing facility, which maintains the highest standards for computer assembly, as reflected by its ISO 9002-certification. We believe the arrangement can provide significant revenue growth for the Company over the next year.” Ms. Lou further commented, “Because McDigit has the infrastructure in place to dramatically increase its production, over the past three weeks, we have successfully begun to systematically expand our customer base and markets in order to increase our revenue volumes and benefit from the economies of scale associated with such increase.
